Welcome to The Field Guide, the editorial arm of CB Curated.

This is where we look closer.

At CB Curated, we believe the things we live with carry stories. A painting found in an attic. A chair whose proportions stop you in your tracks. A book made because someone had something worth putting into the world. An object passed from one hand to another until its history becomes part of its value.

The Field Guide is where we document those things.

We’ll talk about art and the people who make it. Objects we find, collect, produce, or simply cannot stop thinking about. Books from CB Curated Editions, and the writers and artists behind them. There will be provenance, process, interiors, publishing, discoveries, and occasionally something that doesn't fit neatly into any category.

That is probably the point.

We aren't interested in covering everything.

We are interested in paying attention.

Some things will be important. Some will be beautiful. Some will be strange. Sometimes an object will arrive with a perfectly documented history. Sometimes all we'll have is a signature, a date, an attic, and a question.

We think both are worth looking at.
